Important Notes:
At the this time, I only work with individuals ages 18+ in WA state. Licensing requirements prevent me from seeing clients traveling outside WA state. I do not work with couples.
I do not provide crisis services.
Given the scope of my practice, I am unable to provide services to folks who are actively experiencing/seeking support for:
suicidality
homicidality
disordered eating
substance use struggles
stalking
psychosis & delusions

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

I am in network with:
Premera
Lifewise
Most Blue Cross Blue Shield plans (not Regence)
I recommend you contact your insurance provider before our first session to learn the specific details of your plan and what you might be responsible to pay for (ie. any co-pays or deductibles).
For folks with other insurance plans who still want to work with me, I can provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company. This means you pay my full rate & your insurance provider *may reimburse a percentage of the cost.
*It is up to you to verify your insurance benefits (e.g., out of network benefits for psychotherapy sessions with an associate therapist) and submit any claims.

My rate is $180 per 55 min individual psychotherapy session & $200 per 55 min intake.
If you believe that we are a good fit & cost is an access barrier, please still email me. I have some sliding scale spots available for QTBIPOC community members.
Here is a resource to help determine where someone might fit along the rate spectrum—> https://www.radicalhistoryclub.com/sliding-scale
Clients who can pay my full rate allow for the availability of more sliding scale spots. This is our living collective care <3 in practice.

At this time, I solely provide virtual therapeutic services via HIPAA-compliant Google Meet video calls.
-
Email me at info@sanatherapypractice.com a bit about yourself & what you’re looking for in therapy. From there, we will schedule a free 20 min consult call that aligns with both our schedules via Google Meet. This is an opportunity for both of us to ask questions, see if we’re a good fit, & discuss next steps.

Yes! I have extensive experience writing GAC letters following WPATH 8 guidelines for clients and those seeking a one-time assessment. GAC letters can be covered by insurances I am in network with (double check with your provider) or via a pay-what-you-can structure—ranging from private pay, sliding scale rates, and pro-bono. Email me and let’s talk more ;)

I offer folks 24 hrs until their scheduled appointment time to email me regarding cancelling our session. For example, if your appointment is on Monday at 1pm, you have until Sunday at 1pm to let me know you cannot make it. Beyond that window, you will be charged a $150 no-show fee that insurance does not cover.
Things happen, and I extend a once/year waiver of the cancellation fee.
